Highlights of 2026
1. Stronger Industry Recognition and Greater Platform Participation
The Fair continues to gain stronger recognition across the industry, with platform participation reaching a new level. For the first time, more than 50 cross-border e-commerce platform companies will participate. The Amazon SPN Zone will also exceed 600 square meters for the first time.
More than 10 e-commerce platforms from emerging markets, including Hainagou, Wayfair, and Trendyol, will make their debut at the Fair. Together, participating platforms will cover major global markets, including Europe, North America, Southeast Asia, and Latin America. This marks the initial formation of a diversified ecosystem that strengthens established markets while expanding into emerging ones.
2. Deeper Integration of Industrial Clusters and Cross-Border E-Commerce
The Fair will further promote the integration of industrial clusters and cross-border e-commerce, creating a strong engine for optimizing China’s foreign trade structure.
In collaboration with commerce authorities from more than 20 provinces, autonomous regions, and municipalities across China, the Fair will organize multiple distinctive industrial clusters to exhibit collectively in alliance pavilions, bringing together industrial resources at scale.
The exhibition scale of featured categories such as lighting from Zhongshan, Guangdong, and hardware, knives, and scissors from Yangjiang, Guangdong, will continue to grow steadily. Industrial clusters from Xinjiang, Shanxi, Yunnan, Inner Mongolia, and other regions will also make a concentrated appearance.
For the first time, the Fair will feature a dedicated 1688 Super Factory Zone. This new zone will introduce an innovative “factory-direct supply + cross-border customization” model. By shortening the supply chain, it will directly address two key challenges faced by small and medium-sized enterprises: difficulty in sourcing suitable products and limited profit margins.
3. Comprehensive Upgrades to Ecosystem Services for Global Expansion
The Fair will bring together more than 200 cross-border e-commerce ecosystem service providers covering payment, logistics, overseas warehousing, marketing, finance, and other key areas. Together, they will form a one-stop global expansion service package covering store setup, operations, logistics, compliance, and risk control.
Focusing on two major priorities—intelligent overseas warehousing solutions and compliant business operations—the Fair will provide professional support to help companies reduce costs, improve efficiency, and manage risks. This will support enterprises in making a stable transition from traffic acquisition to compliant and sustainable operations.
4. Expanded Functions Through Trends and Practical Insights
During the Fair, more than 30 industry forums and livestreaming events will be held. These events will focus on three major themes: policy interpretation, e-commerce platform updates, and technology-enabled growth. They will provide enterprises with practical, forward-looking strategies and opportunities to upgrade their market understanding.
June 16 will be designated as E-Commerce Platform Day, bringing together leading platforms such as Amazon Global Selling, Temu, SHEIN, TikTok Shop, and Alibaba.com. The program will provide integrated guidance for global expansion, covering merchant recruitment, policy interpretation, and hands-on operational training.
June 17 will be designated as AI Day. In partnership with 1688, Made-in-China.com, and leading media organizations, the program will feature in-depth case studies on AI tool applications, intelligent product selection, and other practical topics. These sessions will help companies strengthen their overall capabilities for global expansion.
