To implement the work plans of higher-level authorities, foster new forms and new drivers of foreign trade, and promote trade facilitation and innovative development, the China Foreign Trade Centre (Group), under the guidance of the Department of Commerce of Guangdong Province and the people’s government of Guangzhou municipality and with support from the industry, launched the China (Guangzhou) Cross-border E-commerce Fair in Guangzhou in 2021. The Fair has since been successfully held for four editions.
Highlights of the 2025 China (Guangzhou) Cross-border E-commerce Fair:More than 40 leading platforms, including Amazon Global Selling, SHEIN, Alibaba.com, Temu, Shopee, eBay, Lazada, Google, Walmart and AliExpress, participated in the event. Over 1,000 enterprises from 22 countries and regions around the world took part as exhibitors. Three new special zones were created for cross-border e-commerce AI, overseas social media marketing and compliant global expansion. Concurrent events included the China (Guangdong) RCEP Cross-border E-commerce Exchange Conference, as well as over 30 industry forums and procurement matchmaking activities. The number of professional visitors exceeded 60,000. The Fair has grown into a global cross-border e-commerce exhibition featuring the largest number of participating platforms, the highest level of engagement and investment from leading platforms, and the most complete industrial ecosystem.
Looking ahead to the 2026 China (Guangzhou) Cross-border E-commerce Fair:The 2026 edition is planned to be held from 16 to 18 June 2026 at the China Import and Export Fair Complex, with an expected exhibition area of about 50,000 square metres. It will focus on three core exhibition zones: cross-border e-commerce comprehensive pilot zones, cross-border e-commerce platforms and service providers, and cross-border e-commerce supply chains. During the same period, the Fair will also host an opening ceremony, more than 30 forum sessions and a series of online livestreaming activities.
